Dear Boulevard Veterinary Hospital Pet Parents,

The staff here at Boulevard Veterinary Hospital would like to thank you for continuing to entrust us with your pets’ healthcare. As the current COVID-19 pandemic evolves we are committed to adapting our service model to minimize the risk to our collective public health, while still ensuring proper health care services for our patients.

In order to accomplish these dual goals, the following measures are effective immediately and will be in place indefinitely:

1: We understand that many of the measures put in place to help insure your safety as well as our staff’s safety may add additional time to your visit. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time.

2: No clients will be allowed in the hospital. When you arrive in the parking lot for your appointment please call the hospital and a receptionist will check you in via the phone. If you are unable to get through we ask that you do not leave a message, but continue trying to call. Someone will then come out to the car, take a brief history, then bring the pet into the hospital for the exam. Please plan to have all leashes and collars removed, they are not to come into the hospital. Cats will remain in their carriers. Once the doctor has examined the pet will he will call you to discuss treatment.

3: To further minimize contact, all financial transactions will be completed over the phone. We will not be taking checks or cash at this time.

4: Our technician appointments will be held to a minimum having no more than one scheduled per hour and they will be drop off only. You, the client, will call us from the car once you have arrived in the parking lot, please do NOT enter the building. At that time the receptionist will take payment for the scheduled services and alert an assistant to come out to get your pet. Once services are completed your pet will be returned to the car along with the paid invoice.

5: Any other services which require you to physically come to our office will be conducted similarly to our technician visits above, beginning with a call from our parking lot to notify us of your arrival.

If you, or any of your household members are showing any signs of illness we kindly ask for you to reschedule all non-essential appointments until the current crisis has passed. If the appointment is still necessary please make arrangements to have someone else who is not ill bring your pet to the hospital.

Again, we thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult and uncertain time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience or hardship that the above measures may cause you.

Sincerely,

Boulevard Veterinary Hospital Management
